Garmin 3597 - How use the SD card?

Hi All!
My second question:

I have a 4G SD-card in my navigator.
How could I use this card?
The navigator tell me that I only have 100M left at the navi but nothing about the SD card.
I should buy some more maps, USA and Malaysia and the speedcameras.
Where to put them so I can use them?

I think it will detect SD

I think it will detect SD card when you install maps via Garmin Express. When you install maps, Garmin Express will prompt you to install maps on SD card.

SD card

If you leave the SD card inside and connect your GPS to a USB port it will show you how much empty space you have on your Gps and on your SD card.
Most of the time I never use the gps to install something on the SD card,I got my self a flash card reader and I use it that instead.I insert the SD card inside the flash card and instead waiting 35-45 minutes to install something on the card ,in 7- 10 minutes is finish and done.
