BCD Tofu House ($-$$) is a Korean restaurant brand known for specializing in Soon Tofu, a traditional Korean soft-tofu soup served bubbling hot and prepared with a variety of ingredients such as beef, seafood, clams, vegetables, and other flavorful combinations. Founded in Los Angeles in 1996, BCD Tofu House has grown from its original Koreatown location into a multi-location restaurant group across the United States, with locations in Southern California, Texas, New Jersey, and New York. Its menu extends beyond tofu soup to include Korean favorites such as Galbi (Korean BBQ short ribs), Bulgogi, spicy pork, Bibimbap, dumplings, seafood dishes, appetizers, and combination meals that pair an entrée with Soon Tofu. BCD also offers vegetarian-friendly preparations, packaged takeout items, side dishes, beverages, and delivery through various platforms. While the BCD Tofu House name is registered as a trademark in Canada, the company’s official location listings currently identify its operating restaurants in the United States; therefore, Canadian references to BCD should be distinguished from similarly named Korean tofu restaurants that are not necessarily part of the BCD Tofu House chain.
