numaps vs. other map options

thought I asked this question before but can't seem to find searching it so here goes:

If I stand correct numaps North American and the other map update are the exact same thing? I just downloaded 2014.10 (older version)and now it prompts for me to download nuMaps...

p.s. I also cannot see any vehicles listed under extra in express..

You need to go to the Garmin Garage for Garmin's vehicles.
