I tried to search, but couldn't find anything on it, but is there anywhere on this site to share a custom Garmin Theme? I'm working on an easier-to-see version of a theme and would like to share it when it's done, but I don't see anything here that would indicate that is something that can be done?

What can you do?
In the manual for my 2595, it talks only about changing color. What else can one do in a "custom theme?
Garmin says:
What are Map Themes and how do I change them?
Answer:
When a different Map Theme is selected, the colors used for various mapping items (e.g., background, major and minor roads, highways, etc...) change to more accurately reflect the colors which are generally used in the selected area.
To change the map theme on a nuvi 2200, 2300, 2400, 3700 series, dezl 560, LIVE 1695 and LIVE 2300 series devices:
Touch Tools
Touch Settings
Touch Navigation
Touch Automobile
Touch Map Theme
Select the desired Map Theme (a preview appears on the right side of the screen)
Touch Save
The Map Theme will now be saved. Repeat these steps as needed.
To change the map theme on nuvi 2405, 2407, 2408, 2505, 2507, 2508, 2707, 2708, 3400, 3500, 3507, 3508 series devices, dezl 760, or zumo 350:

Touch Map & Vehicle
Touch Map Theme

Touch Save
The Map Theme will now be saved. Repeat these steps as needed.

Trying to change the theme on my 2595, I am presented with "countries" (where "Garmin" is the default), so it appears that the color change tries to conform to colors used on maps you would get if you stopped into a gas station to buy a local map.
Anyone else got any ideas?

Well colors would be the main thing, but you can also change the border size.
I have changed some aspects on my Garmin from the base "Italia" theme. By increasing the borders and changing some colors, there is more contrast and I can see things more clearly. I feel this may help people who maybe would like an easier to read map, especially while driving.
Although anyone can do this, I know that people may not be comfortable editing the code or referencing the hex color codes needed.
No Border ON 2595 that I can find
There does not seem to be an option to change the border size. What option name does that fall under on the 3790?

For example, the border width of the roads can be changed on the .kmtf themes files on my Garmin if you go into the file. This is what it looks like:
field = "MAP_ROAD_INTERSTATE_CLR" scale = "1.00" border = "1.00"
I have set the border to "2" for all roads which makes the roads - for me- much easier to see against the background of the ground.

No, you have to manually go into the file from your PC and edit the theme file.
