Nuvi 2797LMT

I am looking for a refurbished Nuvi 2797LMT. Is it it too new for a refurbished 2797 product to be in the marketplace?

I believe it is.....And if you can find one it wouldn't be much cheaper then a new one. This is what I've found over the years with Garmin refurbished.

Buy new

Buy new on Amazon for $269 - that's $30 cheaper than in the store. I just bought one of these and it is BY FAR THE BEST GARMIN YET!!! IT IS FANTASTIC. I wish it had an integrated backup camera like the sister model Dezl 760LMT (same frame/case) but this is an awesome, awesome GPS and you will not be disappointed. Worth the price in my opinion!

Nuvi 2797

Agree it is the best Nuvi (I have had) yet, but with one major reservation and that is the Bluetooth interface. Users (incl myself) have reported: poor sound quality, iffy pairing, too low volume, and call connectivity issues -- depending on the model cell phone used. If BT is that important to you, road test the unit with your own phone before you decide to keep it. And, for the record, Garmin has proven to be less than responsive to this issue, with responses ranging from: "...use another phone" to "...we are looking into the problem...". Good luck.

Forgot to mention, you can buy a 2797 from ShopNBC now for $269 and if you ship to non tax state, like NJ, you can save $. Plus, they have 30 day return, no restocking fee, and at least 5 no interest 'value payments'. GPS city also good source, no ship charge and no tax.
