Can I charge my c330 by plugging it into the USB jack on a Mac? I assume there are no Mac drivers, so I was wondering if I could avoid bringing my cable, and do my charging via Mac Powerbook.

It should work
WIthout the drivers, it can't communicate, but it will still get power from the USB port, so you should be able to charge it.

Yeah, USB is USB. It should charge just fine, and i wouldn't be at all surprised if the Mac mounts it as a USB drive also assuming you're running OS X.

I run Mac osx and charge my Nuvi 670 using the USB cable. There is also a beta POI loader for Mac that workes great. It will mount on the desktop and if there is a SD card in the unit they will both mount.
