Mgarledge what year is you chev 56 or 57? Looks like a 56. My neighbor has a 55 and a 57 he is going to restore.
It is a 55. My husband did a frame off restore. His first one. I did the interior. It was hard but we both enjoyed the hard work now that we see the end results. Waiting for 2 fans for the radiator and it should be complete.
When we got it it had no interior except springs, no trim, no windows, no engine, nothing but the body and frame and a few small items. It was an Arizona car and had no rust. You would not believe how many grommits there are to buy on the car. It has taken 4 years and he worked on it several days a week except for vacations. My brother tought him how to paint it. This was my husbands retirement porject. Not sure what project he will do next. I want the attic to be made into a craft room but he is thinking about doing another car. He said he will not get one with as much work as this one. He put a 454 in it and had to modify so much but it sounds nice.
Thanks for asking, I am sure this is more information than you wanted but I get carried away.

Three storms are headed toward Northern CA. Suppose to be lots of rain with possible flooding. Just what we need. We do need the rain, but slow enough to soak into the ground and do some good. Oh well, we take what the Lord gives us.
