I recently purchased a 2555 and am having some issues saving new locations to it. I used to use a 2460 and saving new enpoints was an easy process. With the 2555 I can only save new endpoints easlily (and name them) by hitting the vehicle icon while at the location. Is there an esier way? This kind of defeats the pupose of programming a location and then navigating to it later.

To save an address or location to your favorites on a nuvi 2200, 2300, 2400, 2405, 2505, 3400, 3500, or 3700 series, the LIVE 1695 or dezl series:
Search for an address or a point of interest (POI) using the options available in the Where To? menu
When the address or POI is displayed on the map, touch the menu button (three horizontal lines)
On the nuvi 2405, 2505, 3400, 3500 series, and the dezl 760 touch the info button (center button) before touching the menu button (three horizontal lines)
Touch Save
Enter a name for the location
Touch Done (if prompted)
Touch OK when notified that the address has been saved
The saved address will now display in the device's Favorites menu. Repeat the above steps as desired.

Thank you but this doesn't work
On the 2555 when I put in an address to a site (in my case 2335 Yonge St Toronto Canada), I just get the icons that say "Route" "i" "Go!" .
Update "if I hit the "i" Icon the 3 bars show up and allow me to enter a name for the site. Extra step required than using my 2460. Thanks for the assistance.

Garmin sometimes does this...they'll make a certain process easier while making others more difficult or involving more steps. One step forward, two steps back.
