A new one. I've seen photos

A new one.

I've seen photos of tires hung over the camera, filled with gasoline, & set ablaze. Believe it was the UK.

I wonder how many more novel approaches there are to spoiling the revenue stream. I suppose we'll find out as they get distributed more widely.

Once Again, Arizona Leads the Way

Arizona contends in so many ways for leading this nation in the "Insanity" categories. And this is another example.

Shooting red light cameras? We've been doing that for years, now. Note the date. Sadly, we don't stop at merely shooting the cameras...

Oh, and I'm a New Jersey native. When I lived there, I used to think The Garden State was cuckoo. Then I moved here and found out I didn't know the meaning of the word "cuckoo" before.

Nothing new

Yep...they used to smash out the lenses with rocks in lower income areas of NYC in the past. Hopefully there will be in end to these cameras one day (cost of maintaining vs. fines). Currently the fines are in the lead.

DC speed

What I found weird about DC, is that the speed cams are only waist high. That would seem to invite vandalism.....

More Cameras

Perhaps they'll installi cameras facing the street to snap pictures of the perpetrators shooting out the cameras. No longer a traffic offense but now a criminal one.

That will never happen since no revenue generated, only the additional cost to taxpayers to house the criminals.
