Cameras on route # 3o

Is anybody familiar with route #30 in the town of Lancaster PA. Recently I found myself driving through this quaint little town in the middle of Amish country in pennsylvania. I was shocked and amazed to see a cameras installed every 100,150,from each other. Yet my gps said nothing. they are not new according to a waiter in a local restaurant the've been there more than 6 months. What I like to Know is what type of cameras they are? (2) And if they red light or speed cameras, why have'nt been reported.

Thank You

Big Augie

A google search

does not show ant red light cameras in Lancaster. They are the "eye in the sky" type.

This following article explains that RLC's are being proposed.

Currently in Pennsylvania THE ONLY place that has RLC is the City of Philadelphia, by law. There is legislation to allow other places (based on population) but it has not been voted on nor passed.

Also there are NO SPEED cameras at all in Pennsylvania.
