Just finished watching the documentary film "The Civil War" by Ken Burns on Netflix.
Amazing how many real MESS ups there were on both sides during the war.
Basically it should have been over in 2 years.

Basically it should have been over in 2 years.
...if Meade would have done his job after Gettysburg instead of sitting around and talking to his generals, he could have captured Lee and the war would have been over. But, he didn't do his job and Lee got back into southern territory and the war continued for another two years. And, the sad part is, another 100,000 Americans died.

but the weather has decided to turn back toward winter.

Fell off it's track at the Starbuck's drive-thru.
Had to drive in the cold with heater on high.
The passenger door did the same thing last summer.
Just took the door panel off and reset it.
Somewhat annoying since it's freezing here and I don't have a garage to work in, but still grateful I have a little Honda which is easy to fix on my own.

IDE HDD
Spent all day trying to recover an old PC. Kept getting blue screens. Found out it was a bad hard disk drive. Now I got to find a cheap replacement IDE drive.

Bought a used IDE HDD off eBay today. Hope I don't regret it.
New IDE drives are hard to find & expensive. Newegg.com had a few.
