Can someone tell me why Advance Auto Parts POI's are changing daily (sometimes even several times each day)?
The size of the file varies largely too.
Thanks.
Fred
Change History
If you look at the "Change History" for that file you will see that [camerabob] has been doing a lot of work on it lately.
Why the daily changes
At the end of last month, I took over the POI for Advance. The data was old, and lacking... I have been mining the location data from the web site, and updating the stale data daily. As of last night, it's been totally redone with more information. The [sometimes multiple times] daily updates and size changes are over. (my fingers are shot)

A Big Thanks
Well, that explains it.
A big thanks, Bob for the work. What I saw was that the date addendum last character kept cycling on a small letter (different version) but kept repeating letters from a to h. Didn't understand it.
Fred
Yep
I did that as I added states to the mix.

Guess I spoke a bit too soon...

I removed some erroneous duplicate entries, and made changes to correct coordinates for 2 Georgia locations. Some fine tuning is in order, then into maintenance only mode.

OK, that's all for today
Rev 'a' is it. Added missing #3364 Laramie, WY, and corrected truncated and misspelled city/town names.

Many thanks once more. Fred
Many thanks once more.

Any time.
Just glad knowing (hoping) someone puts my efforts to good use.
Last POI conversion update.
Changed all address abbreviations (St. to Street, Rd. to Road, etc.) to the long names, and corrected any errors I found. (They had more ways to abbreviate 'boulevard' than I have ever seen in my life...)
Any additions, subtractions or coordinate changes, please don't hesitate to contact me.
