Accessing data

Is there a way to download data from a 855, such as: Total Time/Moving Time/Stopped; Overall Avg/Moving Avg?

Mapsource

You can Receive Tracks from your device into Mapsource, then look at the Track Properties of the log. This will include the actual date/time/elevation/position/leg-length/leg-speed/leg-direction of each data point as well as letting you determine the overall length of the total (or chosen points) track, elapsed time, and average speed. You can also view the track on any Mapsource map you have, then view the track in Google Earth.

It's not everything you asked for but it's a start and very easy to do with Mapsource.

Mapsource can be installed if you don't have it with these instructions:

Note that Mapsource is being replaced with Basecamp so it might be useful to install now in case Garmin soon removes the needed links to install it.

It's possible Basecamp can do the same/less/more. Someone with Basecamp experience will need to let us know.

Thanks Craig. Once a week I

Thanks Craig. Once a week I typically do what you describe, and am aware of all the info provided in Track download. Just thought there might be a quick way the get the basic info I mentioned. I'm a bit of a data/charting junkie and thought might be interesting.
