Original Battery for Garmin 205w

I replaced my battery with an eBay purchase on my nuvi 750 and it's doing well. The big downside to some battery purchases if you're not equipped beforehand is not also receiving the torx driver and plastic pry bar. It looks as though you battery's specs are 3.7v and 1250mAh. The big issue for your 205W is that apparently some 205Ws contain a battery with a 2-pin connector and some with a 3-pin. Unless someone else can offer help, you may almost need to open the case before ordering a repalcement and see which connector your current battery has to be sure you buy the right replacement.

I'm not sure that a genuine Garmin brand battery can be found since Garmin claims these batteries to not be user-replaceable.
