Feeling good here

Here in east TN, it is starting to feel like fall. We have had record breaking heat this summer so it sure feels good to have cooled off. I hope fall will last a LOOOONG time.

why does my gps say it will

why does my gps say it will take 30 min to go home (with traffic alert) and it takes an hour. ugh! frustrating. and only going total 11 miles. sigh

Cruise coming up

In two weeks I'm off on another cruise, this time to San Juan PR, St. Lucia, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Sint Maarten and Barbados.

Yes, I will have my GPS with me as I will need to be able to find my way back to the ship after touring and shopping. One can't really trust the native drivers who, I'm sure, will appreciate my Garmin's help. wink

I started school again this week. Only 6 classes to go before I get my MBA. I hope it will be worth it in the end.

We're on a 10 night to St. Thomas, St. Kitts, St.Lucia, Barbados at the end of October. Hope the weather holds out for you being the peak of Cane season in the Caribbean at that time.

Fermat's Last Theorem

Now that is kinda esoteric.

I took a lot of math courses through advanced engineering mathematics and don't recall coming across that theorem let alone be aware that mathematicians have been seeking proof to it all those many years.

Course engineers are more interested in practical application of mathematics rather than the proofs. smile

(However, with my math background I can understand what they are talking about.)
