Time to meet in NYC area

Sounds cool, I am in nyc fairly often and would be willing to meet up. Just let us know when you create the POI for the meeting place

I will be glad to keep you posted.. also keep a eye on this post to see who and when this will happen.. and IT will happen... even if it is all by my self (lol) I think this will be a lot of fun and can not wait to meet everyone from the area..

I'm about 330+ miles from being local, so it sounds like I need to schedule a business trip in the area around this time...

i'm in the NYC area and could spare a few minutes to say hi to local members.

From what I could see, it looks like a pretty cool place to meet up.

You know that a very good Idea I am very surprise how come someone as not decide yet to start a GPS CLUB.I used to belong to an AMIGA club,if someone does not know what an AMIGA was ? was the Best computer ever made untill Commodore kill it.

There is a assortment of things to do there. There is a nice board walk, a ammusment park, a good restauant, even a indoor ice rink.. so much to do.

So now we all just need to decide when o make this happen!

Just returned after spending a few days in NYC. I went exclusively for the San Gennaro Festival, as I always do year after year.
The food is SOOoooooooo good! and the beer is dang good also.

That might be a good location for a meeting place in the future, because it runs for three weeks.

Was this the event going on in the Chinatown/Little Italy area of Manhattan? I drove through the area this weekend.

If so, you would definitely need GPS to find each other there!

Did not get anyone that wanted to go to the place so I did not push the idea.. Besides, Was out of work for a while but now back at work.

For anyone that would be intrested, I will be a actor at the haunted house that they will be having there. "Scared By the Sound" is what it is called..

Since no one thought it would be good to go to Rye Playland ( yes, it is too far from the city)

I thought I would try something differnt...

Since I work near the ESB (Empire State Building) I go to a place called "Heartland Brewery" I even have a POI file for all of them in NYC.

I go there a lot and if anyone ever decides to show up there, Give me a shout, and anytime during the week after work, I can be there!

Maybe after the holidays, We can try to set up a meet there too..

Any thoughts on this new idea?

Sounds good to me, I'll be up in the NYC area around Christmas/New Year's

If anyone does want to just meet up for a beer or 2, just send me a email from here, and I will get it on my phone. Anytime during the weekday and after 5pm (after work) will be my best time.. The place has great beers/Drinks and food. Check out the website for more info. I know a lot of the workers there too. (that helps a lot. LOL)

If I get more people that want to come sometime betten now and the New year, I can start working on something now..

Probably summer is a better time for this. It would give you a better time frame to coordinate the whole thing. Just my thought.

I'm sure you won't miss the snow over the next couple of months.

We'll be as safe as we can, hopefully this trip will be as uneventful as the last one. I will miss the snow actually, although I haven't seen much so far this winter. I think we've had more inches of the road treatment garbage Penndot dumped than snow.

Just had a brand new hood put on my car about two or three months ago and the paint is already chipped
