MSN weather radar shows snow instead of rain on GPS

Hot outside, 90+ degrees and the MSN weather radar has been showing snow for precip (blue) instead of rain. Been doing that since Winter, never changed to rain (shades of green and red). Is it like this in every city? Everything else via the MSN receiver works (stocks, forecast, gas prices, etc).
I know MSN is going away in 2012, and I know I'm getting the service free until then... But sheesh, can't they fix this simple thing?
