Major update 6/2010 with complete review of stations and locations from FCC database by Aardvark.
Welcome to the Radio Guys team.

This file contains locations for antenna towers of over 1200 radio stations under the genre of TALK and NEWS/TALK RADIO, using FCC data for location.

This genre was suggested by robindriscoll who then collected the station list. This file is the product of three of us: User Bob Ball, usually from Michigan, momentarily from Arizona, extracted education and non-commercial station data from NPR and put coordinates into DD.DDDD format. User Bob Brown of Florida from his GIS background tweaked and verified through spot checks using GoogleEarth photos. User Maury Kahn in Texas used his Excel knowledge to merge station data with the NPR station roster into a file ready for upload.User Aardvark reviewed and updated all location data from the FCC database in May of 2010
Users should understand that in the midst of a lot of file manipulation there may be errors, omissions and duplication.
