Gave 260W to my son

As I mentioned in another post, I gave my Garmin 260W to my 20 year old son when I purchased a Chevy Equinox last year with a built in NAV system, which works pretty good.
Well, recently I asked my son about the Garmin. He said he could not charge it anymore. First I looked at the unit, and I said "where is the SD card?". He knew nothing about that, and it is possible that I did take it out before I gave it to him. Then I looked at the charging cable, and the mini USB end was mangled. Turns out he smashed the end in the car door. SIGH.
So I gave him mini USB wall and auto charging cables, told him that it would not turn on when charging, so do it before he needs it, and I ordered a new garmin charging cable on Amazon.
Hopefully this will get him back up and running.

As you said he is only 20 years old. You didn't think you were done paying for him yet did you?
You should feel lucky. I have a daughter 20 years old.

I am a father, and grandfather of 1 boy and 2 girls...they love to spend too! But I got my 2 girls married off...and THEN I retired!!
BTW, gave my 2 girls a 360 each, they love them, wouldn't trade them for the world for anything newer.

thanks, guys, I just have the two sons, the 16 yr old is taking his driving test tomorrow, and I am going to let him use the 265W when he is going farther away from home.
No grandkids on the horizon.
