POI Red Light Camera Question

In my area, Orlando, Fl, cameras may only be pointed in 1,2, or three directions. As I am new to POI's, I have a question: 1. Are the POI's direction sensitive? i.e. if you are going west but the camera is catching southbound traffic will the POI alert still go off at the intersection regardless of your direction of travel?

all

It will go off in all directions, even if you are approaching from above...

No, but...

As noted, you will not get a warning based on direction of travel - the alert is based simply on the Lat/Long of the camera location.

That said, there are about two dozen entries in the RLC file that do have directional notations added. It is included in the third column, with the names of the intersecting streets, something like NB or WB after the street name. It is informational only, as the GPS is unable to use that in generating the warning. You may see that displayed when you get the warning on your GPS, if it shows the street names with the warning.
