looked on their website and couldn't find a map update. I did see where the say you get a backup map cd so it makes me think maps are installed by that method. I would call their tech support and ask. Sorry wished this was more of a help.

I called LG and they said, “This unit (LG LN735) is self-contained and CANNOT be updated to new maps. The maps CD that comes with the unit is all what will be available to you”.
