I hope...

The statehouse Rep that was on Mickelson's WHO radio program today gets his bill passed to ban those highway robbers all together. Absent that, his proposal to restrict the things from becoming a piggy bank to raid.

95% of camera citations in Cedar Rapids for I 380 speeding.

I found that statement in the linked article interesting. I drive that segment of I 380 regularly and can confirm that the cameras have changed the driving habits significantly (including my own). The occasional speeder now sticks out like a sore thumb weaving in and out while the majority of the traffic is moving along at the 55 MPH limit.

Knowing that statistic, it is interesting that Iowa City is focusing on the red lights instead of speed cameras on I 80.
