New mac user here... I am attempting to load my current map on a new macbook pro running snow leopard 10.6.4. I followed Garmins instructions to load MapConverter on my Windows XP machine. When I ran it, it said my City Navigator 2010.10 was already mac compatible. I copied the City Navigator___.gmap files to a CD.
I have already loaded RoadTrip, MapManager and MapINstaller on my macbook.
With the CD in my macbook, I can click on the gmap file which launches MapManager and I am able to initiate the installation. It gets about 3/4 through and fails - with a message to try again. Trying again was also not successful. I have not been able to find any info on failed map installations on Garmins support site, here at POI factory of elsewhere on the web.
Anybody got any ideas or insight into what could be my problem? Thanks in advance for any help.
