Last night's primary results, especially in Delaware, should be another bucket of cold water in the faces of politicians who do not understand the concept of representing the needs and wants of the people who put them there. I say that being politically active, by exercising your vote, and getting rid of such politicians, is what is needed to make a permanent change in reclaiming this country.
Abe said it best: government of the people, by the people, FOR the people.

That's how I realized late in life that I was really closest to a Libertarian than one of the other (only) two.
And, now rather than not even bothering to vote (like the majority) when I vote Libertarian, my vote still doesn't count but at least I've made a tick mark on the 'none of the above' tally sheet.
All in the hopes that at some future point my vote might start to count, and then there's a real chance of a decent government.

If a line can be drawn between the powers granted and the rights retained, it would seem to be the same thing, whether the latter be secured by declaring that they shall not be abridged, or that the former shall not be extended.
