I wish you can just bring your gps into bestbuy and have them replace the battery.

I don't know what models you had before but it shows you now have a 265.The same model I have.You have to be careful with the plug to the unit.When I first got mine I had the habit of pulling from the mount before disconnecting from the unit.My 340 had the cradle and I was used to just pulling it out of the cradle and putting in my pocket.I have thought about making a small jumper for the 265.I can see a problem in the future with this type of connection.
