Garmin 13xx/14xx LMT models

This is being discussed over on the GPS Review forum, but I haven't seen anything about it here at POI factory. Garmin has added some LMT models to the 13xx and 14xx series nuvi's which are bundled with Lifetime Maps and Lifetime traffic. (https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?cID=134) Most of these models are only $50 higher than the same model without the Lifetime maps. It would be nice if Garmin would expand this offering to other model series in their lineup. It is unclear at this time if these models will be offered by other retaillers or just at the Garmin online store.
One interesting sideline on this has to do with an apparent change in license agreement on the traffic receiver and lifetime subscription.
The Lifetime traffic footnote on the 1490LMT model reads: Free Lifetime Traffic Updates may not be transferred to another person or another Garmin product ...
On the 1490T model it says: Lifetime traffic extends for the useful life of your Garmin traffic receiver (as long as you own a compatible Garmin GPS) ...
Since the "free lifetime traffic" subscription is tied to the receiver, I wonder how Garmin intends to enforce the non-transferability to another unit that uses the same receiver/connector.

Agreed on the point that a $50 bundle for other products might make me look at it, the present structure is overpriced - and due for a hammering from GPS enabled cellphones.
