I see that Garmin voices British Daniel and Emily have been updated: Daniel to 1.70 and Emily to 2.00.
Added normalization of Singapore street names.
I don't think I'll update since I don't use Singaporese (or whatever the language is there) and if I updated, then I'd need to re-hex-edit the volumes to be louder again.
What's normalization? Is it to have a more consistent volume level between words and other audio from the nuvi?
Any notions or hints as to what has been changed re Emily? She seems to work pretty well in the current version, other than the confusion of Street and Saint and Drive and Doctor, which is a formatting issue not something that is readily handled with a voice update.
now if only they can pronounce words like houston right...
Houston is a suburb of Singapore?
Harris County is a different country.
