Anybody notice that since MSN said they are stopping traffic in 2012 that the traffic that they do put out there is WAY OFF ?

I haven't noticed any slacking off on MSN's part in the DC area. The traffic info is as it always has been.

MSN Traffic
I'm getting reports of major tie ups and when I get there nothing. I'm at the point now where I can't trust it. ( 885T )

MSN isn't just discontuing their traffic service, they are discontinuing the entire service.
And, my experience is that in my area (Montreal) their traffic has had a MAJOR IMPOROVEMENT of late and now matches almost point for point the service I get with my GTM-20.
Perhaps they have changed providers in some markets?
As to being seriously out of date; Note that if you are in a poor reception area or have your unit installed so that your reception is spotty, your database might not be updating and the unit could be making the declation based on out of date information.

DC Area
In the DC area, the MSN seems to be much more accurate than the FM traffic. And a stronger signal too.
Will miss it (along with the weather) when it is gone.

Glad you posted this..I was thinking the exact same thing, just a few days ago. I believe it is becoming more and more useless. However, I can still get weather reports and that is something, but I really don't use it for much more than that. I am thinking of just going ahead and switiching over to my FM cable, instead of waiting until 2012.
MSN Traffic - Detroit
Quality of MSN Traffic in the Detroit area has definitely gotten worse.
It was total junk
MSN was so inaccurate and out-of-date here in Seattle that I let my subscription lapse several months ago. It really was worse than useless.
DFW Area
It seems to me it is always late. Wish I hadn't bought the cable.
Not too bad
It has been fairly accurate for me in Southern California. But all that is moot in a couple years when they pull the plug on thier service leaving me with a glorified car charger.

Well what do you thing about this, I was in phila the temp was 55 deg about 4am when i checked the weather on msn it said it was 20deg and snowing..

I have tried it in several cities in Canada and MSN was a waste of time. Just wish I had a different traffic cable/plug!!!
