POI's not showing up in Extra's>Custom POI's, after loading

I tried loading some POI's for the first time on my new 1490, but they're not showing up in the Custom POI list. The POI's were downloaded from this site and are .csv files that I put into a specific folder. Using Garmin POI Loader, I went through the install process, selecting the folder where the csv files are at, and completing the installation process with no error messages. POI Loader said "Congratulations...you have successively installed...."
I then eject the Garmin volume on my Mac and disconnect the USB cable from the 1490. When I open Where To?>Extras on the 1490, there is nothing there under the Custom POIs list. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated.

You were almost there. Tap the words "Custom POIs" and you should see the pois you loaded.

I understand some 3rd party software (Mad Maps?) will display under Extras.
