Hello, recently bought a garmin street pilotc550. Looking for a file that takes bridge height into account when plotting a route. I have a 5th wheel that is over 13 feet in height. Anyone know of a file that does this that I can down load that would do this by having me imput my minimum height?

that would be intresting infomation but not sure how one could find the information to input it to a file.
I live in NYC - and we do have a few areas that large trucks can not go to. We have one area in fact that we stay away from due to the fact that there is a truck always stuck under the overpass. They need to extract the air from the tires and them MAYBE get out of the overpass.
So, yes, I can see that being a great idea but where can find information about those areas..
BTW they finily installed a beam that will tell the driver to get off the next exit due top there rig is oversised for the overpass.. that did seem to help a little!!

I would like to find something about height.
I was in N.C and my c330 said turn and found myself on the blue ridge park way. There were these tunnels and I think I just about made it through.
