Sounded more like something Jefferson would have said anyway. Artistic license or not, I liked it.
Today, the government is all about the money. Traffic enforcement cameras are BIG Business. Over fifteen years ago VDOT installed speed cameras around the DC beltway but I don't think they ever implemented charging fines. I wonder if they're rethinking it. TJ would not be proud of his state.
