Is there a way to view POI's on map of Nuvi 755T`

Is there any way to have points of interest show up on a NUVI 755T map. I know when I have the map up and I am scanning around my local vicinity, I see fuel stations, churches, mac machines, etc. But when the map is just displayed and I zoom in, I do not see them. When I say scanning round them map, I am touching the screen and moving to different locations. It just seems odd that there is no way to see the POI's on the map normally.

Welcome

to Garmin's "Less is More" philosophy on map detail. It is what it is and can't be changed on the 7x5 models.

Honestly, I don't know that I would want all those POI's on my screen just driving around; it would be far too cluttered. Using the poi search, or scrolling, is a far better way to do it IMO.

POI's on the screen would be

POI's on the screen would be too much clutter in my opinion....I like searching for specific places or scrolling through the list.....when STOPPED!

I have five extra gauges installed on my truck, a TPM system, sattelite radio and the GPS....all this in edition to the usual gauges.....so for me....less is better! ( All this id edition to watching the road and the 34ft of trailer behind me)

This is just my personal observation.

My 855 has the option to

My 855 has the option to show Built In POIs on both maps by selecting Tools>Settings>Map>Show POIs>Enabled / Disabled. This gives you a screen by category Food, Lodging, Fuel, etc. You can toggle between Show All / Hide All. You can also select each category to further limit what you display.

I tried it once displaying all Built In POIs, but in my opinion it is too cluttered.

I agree-too much

I agree-too much clutter.
The maps are busy enough

I also agree

I agree it can be too much on the screen. Still think the 765t should have the option to enable/disable like the 8x5 series.
