I used mine to cover a hole in the sill of my house left by removing an old water line. Works great, although the mice aren't too pleased. smile

varmint control is wasteful of a perfectly good Dash Disc

Uhmmmmm, I would use plaster to patch your wall or wood putty for the sill. And a few mouse traps for the varmint infestation.
I myself would get a second one and some RTV silicone then Silicone one to each heal on your shoes, this will keep your heels from wearing down and give you an extra year on those favorite shoes.

I put mine on...

I put mine on the top of my dashboard and it works great, for what it is intended for. razz

It keeps it off of my windshield and it comes off pretty easy if you need to relocate it to an other vehicle.

If you don't want yours you can always mail it to me - wink

Wait, wait- peel off the sticky-protector, glue the disc upside-down to the inside of the nuvi's cardboard box, and cut a little circle opening in the end of the box. Now you have one of those modern no-mess mousetraps.

Golfing

I stuck mine on a hard shell briefcase. When golfing I use my Nuvi as a golfing GPS mounted on the case next to me on the golf cart. With an extra battery charger and locations saved from Google Earth as POI this combo works fine on several local golf courses without GPS equipped carts. See Gary Hayman's site for details.

Cup Holder GPS Holder

I drive a shuttle for a car dealership, which uses Pontiac Montanas for their shuttles. I tried using mounting the suction cup to the windshield, but my bifocals make it impossible to read when it's that high.

There's a slide out coffee cup holder below the radio and I initially figured there would be snow balls chance in hell to get a signal, but I tried it and was amazed that it worked. At first I simply rested in the holder, but that didn't work well. Necessity is the Mother of invention and I kept thinking what to do.

In the end I found a 2" ABS pipe cap that essentially looks like a small top hat. I stuck the disc to the narrow part of the top hat. It now looks like a tiny hose reel. (Wide on each end and narrower in the middle.)

This was still not snug enough, so I cut the end off a 2" ABS female connection and cut through one side. (It now looked like a "C" with a very small cutout.)I slipped this over the narrow center part and then put about a 1" piece of rubber garden hose under the gap to expand the center. It now fits snugly in the coffee cup holder and the suction mount sits perfectly on the disc.

This allows me to easily install at the beginning of my shift and then take it home at the night.

It puts it a very good angle for reading and typing (not while driving).

If there was a way to post a picture, I would be glad to do so.
