Today I attempted to load the "Scenic Drives" from POI Factory using the Garmin loader. I only got 54 locations to transfer to my zumo 660. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
you might be looking at the 50 or so close to you
Most users think that they will see all of the list from any poi file but you only see the 1st 50 or so that are closeset to where you are.. Hope that helps..

What did the POI Loader report how many POI's were loaded? bobkz is correct on how many your GPS will display.

Manual or Auto
Which method of loading the POIs? I always use manual and if a file has a problem the loader reports were the error occurred.

Is there a limit to the miles away to the POI also? On my Nuvi 755T, I searched for a POI group. There are not many, but most were more than 150 miles away on my route. I was looking for locations along my route. Only a few showed up and I know that there are more further up the road.
Thanks for the quick
Thanks for the quick responses. I understand the "Near" feature and use it frequently. The goofy thing is I downloaded this file because I don't know where "Near" is for these good rides. Oh well, back to a map. Thanks again.
Just a suggestion use
Just a suggestion use http://turboccc.wikispaces.com/Extra_POI_Editor and download your file to it and using the tools option open in Google Earth.

There is a "Drive Zone"

There is a "zone" as to how far off your route the unit will search, but I don't know just how large that zone is. It's probably within a 1 to 2 mile zone but could be less. You might try asking Garmin and then posting the answer.
