Text to Speech for StreetPilot i5

Hello,
I loaded my i5 with Red Light Camera data and it accurately displays a textual alert on the screen.
However I have one problem:
1. I also uploaded a mp3 with the red light camera poi. But i don't get the speech warning when the visual alerts are displayed. Is the text to speech functionality available on the i5?

Does the i5 say the name of the streets or the name of your destination?
I don't think anyone gets a verbal alert when the visual alerts are displayed. Unless an mp3 is attached to that poi and then the mp3 could be anything you wanted.
I looked through the i5 manual and no mention of mp3 capability. There also was no mention of any file types, so I'm not sure if it's mp3 capable or not.
Look in your folder that contains the voices, if there are not any with a persons name, they only have a limited vocabulary. For example English_American vs English_American_Jack
You may get things like "left turn" or "make a u-turn" but not "turn left onto smith street"
or maybe you get "arriving at destination" and not "arriving at POI-Factory, on right"
The voices with the person's name attached have much more of a vocabulary for the TTS functionality.
