Nuvi boot loop

Yesterday I tried to see if the Custom Waypoint symbols worked with a Nuvi. I set a favorite in Mapsource and made the symbol one of the custom symbols. I sent the favorites to the 765T. When I turned on the Nuvi it went into a boot loop. I had to do a master reset to get it to boot. When it did the new favorite was there (with a defualt symbol) as well as the Garmin defaults but none of the favorites that were stored on the Nuvi before. Just a warning.

Almost scared me death. Lucky you wrote about it, and I found it.
Mine is a nuvy-255w, but behaved exact the same.
