indicator on a Nuvi 885t? and where can i download it
from ..

What do you mean "use the mileage indicator"? If you mean the mileage between two points, any of the web based mapping programs can provide that.

If you select a destination, it will show you the total miles to get there.

Or you can use the page where it shows your max speed, time stopped, total miles since last reset and use that.
