GPS in the movies

cool The movie "Knowing" with Nicolas Cage was released last week on DVD. The GPS plays a significant role in the movie plot. What other movies have you seen where the GPS plays a somewhat important role?

Terrible movie.

Terrible movie.

Movie Knowing.

Weird ending.

You can use that adjective for most of his movies. He's a "paycheck" actor.

You didn't like the "National Treasure movies" or "The Rock"?

Wow.

Fast & Furious

Fast & Furious also gives GPS a somewhat important role. It was just released on DVD. Good movie IMHO.

Up

A humorous Pixar movie about an old man, a boy, and a talking dog. The boy is a boy-scout type who uses his GPS to find South America.

Cage

I typically skip his movies just because he is in them. I'm not a fan. I may have watched that film had someone else been in it.

Nicolas Cage

I really wanted to watch Knowing after seeing the previews. However, the ending is one of the worst ever... I just couldn't believe they ended the movie like that.

The GPS played a huge role in that movie, the biggest role played by a GPS in any movie that I've seen.

Weird

I would have to agree that the ending was a bit weird. When the date pattern was identified, I immediately told my wife that the other numbers are probably coordinates. I really didn't care for the movie, especially the bizzare ending rolleyes

I think everyone wants a happy ending all the time. For me, I liked the ending. Something different and not predictable.
