2010 map update

My Nuvi 360 has the 2008 maps installed. I have the 2010 maps both in a SD card and in the mapSource in my PC. As I try to tranfer the maps to the device, it reads that there is insufficient memory. Please help.
Am I using the right software, what else can I try.

The preinstalled maps on the

The preinstalled maps on the 350 are City Navigator NT which are a compressed version of the normal City Navigator maps. If you are attempting to transfer all segments of City Navigator 2010 from a non-NT version there may well not be enough room on the Nuvi to hold them all.

You can try to delete voice files, mp3 or audible book files that are currently on the 350 and that you don't use. This will free up some space.

Insufficient memory

I wouldn't get too worried about the updated maps on the internal memory. I recently updated my C330 and if I had it to do over again, I would not have let the update DVD overwrite the internal maps with partial maps.

I would have left the old complete US+Canada maps on the internal memory and just used the complete US + Canada updated maps with an SD card. (My result now is if my SD card comes out mid-trip, I won't have maps for all of US+Canada. I'd rather have the backup of the old but complete maps on the internal memory)
