Has anyone figured out a patch for the 885T Nuvi?
I have posted on the string by Ray3676 who asked about his Nuvi 765, and noticed that Garmin has addressed the problem with that unit, however I was told that I would have to wait a few days for a patch for my unit, and I am not sure if it would mean a download or having to send it back to them.
If someone has successfully worked around this issue in a way that a novice like me can understand, please let me know.
I hope Miss POI does not see this as a duplication of topic content, but my post got lost in the frey of the 765 issue.

What was that update for? I just sent my 885T in for repair. I won't get it back of a week. Just curious what the update was for.
