removing a red light camera

how do we go about reporting a removal of a red light camera. i am asking b/c there is a red light camera on my unit were one dose not really exist or really needs to be filed under something else. the spot im talking about is near the intersection of rock hill rd and Lockwood in Webster groves Missouri it is not even in a intersection for one and for 2 its a video taped railroad crossing. that to me is not a red light camera and for those morons who decide to drive around the crossing bars. not to mention one more thing they recently installed concrete barriers to prevent the morons who do this to even be able to do this feat any more and thus this should not be in the red light camera file. it has been bugging me hearing it beep approaching red light camera here when there is not. my recent travels have sent me down this road almost every day now. i dont have my gps handy to get the code from it but i think these are the coordinates i got from yahoo maps 38.593844,-90.364662

Where are the traffic lights?

Google street view shows that there aren't any traffic lights at the intersection. There are STOP signs.

I've just downloaded RLC POI. The item in discussion is entry number 2403 (in Excel).

Coordinates: -90.3647,38.5939
or
Red Light Camera .026ms

Hold on just a second, you said it's a RR crossing Camera

Why don't you just remove it from your database if you don't want to bothered by it. I myself would like to be notified By all enforcement cameras.

It is becoming obvious that just the two, Redlight and Speed camera warnings aren't going to sufficient much longer.

Red light cameras
Speed cameras
Bus lane cameras
Toll-booth cameras
Level crossing cameras - vehicles crossing railways grade illegally
Congestion charge cameras
Double solid line cameras
occupancy compliant lane cameras
Automatic plate recognition cameras

Is this a location where you

Is this a location where you will get a ticket if you go through when the light or cross guard is red?

Miss POI

here is how RedFlex sets it up!

REDFLEXrail is a red light violation monitoring system that can predict whether or not a vehicle will stop for the flashing red light at railroad crossings. It detects vehicles that drive around the lowered boom. It provides gridlock enforcement capabilities that capture images of all vehicles that stop within the violation area after a configurable time period. And it is able to capture high-resolution plate images of multiple vehicles in the event that more than one vehicle is stopped within the violation area.

So if you cross the enforcement line (similar to a stop here on red stripe), it's not necessary that you go around the gates, you just have to get to close to them or across the line. The keywords above from Redflex are "stop within the violation area"

Miss POI

Here, here!
If there's something that can cost you money, I want to know about it.

OTOH, I thought I'd drag my GPS along on a trip to my LHBS (Local Home Brew Shop). FIVE red light cameras.
The first four were duds. I was going to dismiss the fifth one, but it was real. They just installed it in the last month.

I had figured out there were going to be a lot of false alerts and enabled screenshot on the Garmin.
Now to figure out how to download those captures. I will then forward them for deletion.

We really need to purge these traffic and ESV cameras from the list guys.

Connect your Garmin to your PC via USB. Go into My Computer and open the drive letter assigned to your Garmin. You should see a folder named Screenshot (of all things). Your photo files will be in there.
