My RV dream was washed away by the rain.
We went to pick up the RV we thought was going to be our dream home on wheels.
The day we went through it was a dry day. Yesterday was pouring.
We were going through it with a fine tooth comb and found water in the closet.
Oh well, back to looking.

Rubber roof on that RV?
We went to pick up the RV we thought was going to be our dream home on wheels.
The day we went through it was a dry day. Yesterday was pouring.
We were going through it with a fine tooth comb and found water in the closet.
Oh well, back to looking.
All is not lost.... Is that a rubber roof on the RV? Patching it is very easy, if the closet is damp it's probably a leak on the roof vent. The stuff you buy at the RV store is 'self leveling' and easy to apply. Hope that helps!

There are no vents in the closets of RVs. If there is water in the closet after a rain it's indicative of a much more serious problem. Depending on how long the leak has been working, there could be some serious structural damage.
Run, don't walk away from RV's that have water damage, water showing, or smell like mildew.

Then, when you reach retirement, you get to worry about your company's pension plan being depleated or mis-managed (if you even have a pension plan), ever shrinking medical & prescription drug coverage (if you even have coverage), rising Medicare costs on a "fixed income," no cost of living increase on January 1, for Social Security recipiants, and my personal favorite - watching your 401(k) and IRAs shrink 40% in value as the economy tanks.
