Question on Mexico Map on SD Card

Hi guys,
I have a quick question:
I will be traveling to Mexico soon(prices are CHEAP now)
and was thinking about buying a Mexico map for my Nuvi 260w and putting it on an SD card. I have some questions that I hope someone knows the answer to:
1) are points of interest (gas, restaurants, hospitals) included in the City Navigator Mexico maps or is it just the map only?
2)If I go to options->settings->maps, I see a list of maps on my nuvi (it only has the city navigator usa map)and a checkbox next to it. I can uncheck this box if I want but I don't know if that will make the USA map unavaialable to my Garmin. My question is this: If I get the Mexico map, will my garmin automatically select the Mexico map or do I have to select it and unselect the usa map?
3)If anyone has used the mexico maps before, how accurate is it?
Thanks all
Bob

Sounds like fun

1) I'm absolutely sure POIs come with the map.
2) You don't have to uncheck anything. My guess is when you're in Mexico and your GPS finds the satellites, you'll see Mexico map with your position in it.
3) Never used it so I can't comment.

Note:
I have SE Asia map. It comes with preloaded POIs. Not sure how accurate it is because I have not tried it. I've only tried simulated route. Jill has a hard time pronouncing foreign street names smile. I really want to take a vacation in Asia now.
