I want to thank you for the response to the articles that
I have posted this last year and one-half.
Very helpful information - thanks.
I took a look through the "Fun with nuvi track logs" (revised 3/10/09) and it's very informative. A POI user was asking about that just a week or two ago and got a lot of good advice. I think you covered it all, though, and it will be a good resource for that user if they find this forum posting.
sure will take a look soon....
Thanks for the updates!
Thanks for the info!
I rely heavily on this site and yours in trying to tame my 765T, which is currently in the hands of Garmin.
"In our last episode", I had returned it to Garmin, and was told that I would receive a replacement within 7-10 business days...UPS Tracking shows that they received it on 4/13, meaning that the 10th business day would have been last Friday the 24th.
it is now 3:45PM EDT on 4/27, and it does not look like I will be receiving it today, the 11th business day.
I will be calling at 9:01AM EST tomorrow morning to see what is up
Thank you, will take a look at
very cool info.
I have your site in my books marks there are so many cools things. I've only had my Garmin a few weeks but already is is quite customized.
I'm getting ready for a 2 week trip in July so finding things that will help along the way is the most important to me.
Thanks for your efforts to develop and maintain the information. And thanks for sharing with the community.
I refer to your site often. Thanks for providing such useful information.
I agree, nice job!

Every time a look at your Nuvi hints and tricks I learn something new.
Now I get to dig a little deeper.
Nuvi 200 and C320

for all the hard work
Very interesting. Thanks,
Why this had to be resurrected out of ancient history?
The original link by G,Hayman does not even work any longer and there is absolutely NO other valid information in this thread. !!!
He is still active here and has a new wed site link in his post each week in the chit chat thread,
quoted jrodriguez245 wrongly. His last post was in 2009 !
It was resurrected by "anh", after 10 years being dormantWHY?
Thank you for the information.
Found his site at http://ghayman.net/GARMIN.TnT/
Thanks for this useful information.
... is 10.5 years old. Pretty sure all the info is now obsolete.
Perhaps the administrators should lock all threads started some period of time ago.. perhaps 2~3 years to prevent bored members bumping up old threads. Absolutely keep them for reference but if someone wants to comment on them.. start a new tread and link the page.
Just a thought
Link is no good any longer
