Thanks for the update, Gary.

I took a look through the "Fun with nuvi track logs" (revised 3/10/09) and it's very informative. A POI user was asking about that just a week or two ago and got a lot of good advice. I think you covered it all, though, and it will be a good resource for that user if they find this forum posting.

Thanks for the info!

Thanks Gary

I rely heavily on this site and yours in trying to tame my 765T, which is currently in the hands of Garmin.

"In our last episode", I had returned it to Garmin, and was told that I would receive a replacement within 7-10 business days...UPS Tracking shows that they received it on 4/13, meaning that the 10th business day would have been last Friday the 24th.

it is now 3:45PM EDT on 4/27, and it does not look like I will be receiving it today, the 11th business day.

I will be calling at 9:01AM EST tomorrow morning to see what is up sad

I have your site in my books marks there are so many cools things. I've only had my Garmin a few weeks but already is is quite customized.

I'm getting ready for a 2 week trip in July so finding things that will help along the way is the most important to me.

Why this had to be resurrected out of ancient history?

The original link by G,Hayman does not even work any longer and there is absolutely NO other valid information in this thread. !!!

This thread ...

... is 10.5 years old. Pretty sure all the info is now obsolete.

Perhaps

Perhaps the administrators should lock all threads started some period of time ago.. perhaps 2~3 years to prevent bored members bumping up old threads. Absolutely keep them for reference but if someone wants to comment on them.. start a new tread and link the page.

Just a thought
