Hello

Happy St. Patty's day

New speed cameras in WA

Is anyone on top of the new red light & speed cameras going up in Isaquah, WA east of Seattle.

It also looks like Seattle is going to put up 24 more cameras at 19 intersections.

http://www.prosecurityzone.com/Customisation/News/Guarding_E...

somewhere around #53?

yep, that's where I am. pulling up the rear.

After 3 days of rain, everything is spring green just in time for St. Paddy's day.

Happy Day to all you green sons of Erin. I have to tend to my garden while the soil is soft.

Time to renew my auto insurance policy. I've had AIG and now they are calling their auto division 21st Century to disguise their identity. AIG not popular now. Of course, they are 80% owned by us and too big to fail, so at least they have that in their favor.

I have 2 retirement IRAs with AIG Financial. Earlier this month, I was notified that their new name is Sagepoint Financial, Inc.

Not that long ago, being associated with the AIG name was a big selling point, a positive, something to be proud of. My, my, how times have changed. Whether its called 21st Century, Sagepoint or anything else, its still a wolf in sheep's clothing. sad

Cue the outrage. For months, the Obama administration and members of Congress have known that insurance giant AIG was getting ready to pay huge bonuses while living off government bailouts. It wasn't until the money was flowing and news was trickling out to the public that official Washington rose up in anger and vowed to yank the money back.

A garden sprayer will work, you just need to keep going over it till is wet through, but not dripping.

Try it, you will know when it's ready to release, which doesn't take as much water as you think.

Didn't win

Well, I didn't win the Acura TL, so I'm actually going to have to pay money for a new car this year.

Bummer. Buying cars is such a bother.

Came close, though. I was #5 in line. #7 won the car.

Panama Canal

We took a 14 day cruise on Holland American to the Panama Canal last year. It left from Port Everglades in FL. We went halfway thru the Canal, got off, toured the old Naval Base, and surronding towns. Met the ship back at the entrance where we started. Going thru the locks was amazing. We have taken many cruises and by far, this was one of the best.

Funny Find Under Lodging

I was just looking at lodging on my 660 and it showed the Circle Inn as a place to sleep. Only problem is it's a beer joint and pizza parlor not a motel or anything close. I guess you could sleep in the parking lot and call it lodging. laugh out loud

For a seaman, the canal has all the nav markers right on spot, they are wonderful. Try to get some of the really really black bread there, it was "Mary Jane" brand when we bought some. And real Holland butter, oh my goodness. Plus, try a Panama servesa/beer. Lovely place with all those mountains. Never been to Belize, but did go to west coast of Costa Rica. The whole trip will be a delight. Have a great great time.

Could not risk flooding the apartment below so we did not use the water treatment to get rid of the popcorn ceiling. Instead we opted for a dropped ceiling and added flush mounted ceiling lights.

That worked.
