Hello, I have a Nuvi 750 but I am not able to get the proximity to work on my Nuvi. It does not show up at all. Are there any suggestions? Thank you

What exactly do you mean by not being "able to get the proximity to work?" Do you have a POI loaded and wish for a proximity alert? If so, do you want the default bong, or a custom audio alert? Is the POI icon showing up on the map? Is the POI showing up in the Extras menu?
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
Menu
Sometimes you will not have menu choices if you don't have any files loaded with proximity points. You may need to load in manual mode and set a speed or distance alert for a file before you will get a menu choice.
