Trip to Texas

hey guys I havent been on in a while and in a way i do regret that. I am heading down to texas in our little winnebago for a fewdays next weekend and week. This will be my nuvi's first true test in the rv. our destination is Wichita Falls. my routes send me I76 to I70 to I44. I would like to advoid I44due in part to the whole I64 reconstruction project. I would truly like to just bypass st. louis completely on 270 west. Also Does anyone know any good pois i shuld download before we go? we will be driving down and flying back. the rv is staying there for a month and a half until we fly back down during spring break

Alternate

From I70 you can take I55 at Exit 208, but the travel through St. Louis isn't that bad off rush hours.

MoDOT has a good web site about the construction and their 5-1-1 system is up to date as well.

I've driven from Tx to Nj and back several times. As well as Az to Nj and back, more than a couple of times. I prefer the southern route. Little Rock, Memphis, Nashville etc. 30 ► 40 ► 81 I think the scenery is nicer too. Total miles aren't that much different. That's one way to avoid St Louis.
