I go to maps.google.com and when I find what I'm looking for I press the 'link to this page' which gives me a reusable URL. Im assuming that two of these numbers are the lat and long? I want to lift these and add them into a POI file. Sorry if this is a nubie question, I just started using my Nuvi 350 yesterday
Here is an example link.

Thanks
In that link, the Latitude
In that link, the Latitude is 33.817948 and the Longitude is -117.918663.
Negative Latitudes are south of the equator, while negative Longitudes are in the Western Hemisphere (or at any rate, are west of Greenwich).
Thanks! I was being lazy.
Thanks! I was being lazy. I downloaded this sites SoCal attractions, found the entry for disneyland and found which part of the URL contains what I was looking for!
ll=33.804987,-117.918212
Iguess the variable 'll=' stands for lat/long!
