Chilly here today!

National Weather Service here in Phoenix is predicting a chilly 59 degrees for our High Temperature today. Going down to 39 degrees tonight. I'd better cover my Begonias!

MagicJack...

I have been subscribing MagicJack for a almost a year now. No complaints so far. It travels with me when I am out of country. Can really make life more convenient when you are bound to your phone.

Concept is good, but as everyone says, it is tied up to your computer and it has to remain ON 24/7... What I say is, $20.00 a year with flexibility to take it anywhere you like is not a bad deal!!

(I am no way affiliated with MagicJack, and these are my own opinions!)

No problem here either

I travel with one all the time, I can report no problems. Recomended from here.

I used to live in Minnesota but moved to Tucson about 27 years ago after visiting Arizona a couple of times. Do not miss Minnesota at all (except for fishing) and have not been back to Minnesota since then. It has been Sunny and in the 70's most of January here. If I miss the snow and cold we have Mt. Lemon which is about 20 miles from me and it looks like northern Minnesota with huge pines, lakes, streams and even a complete ski complex.

What's the deal with that? Do you get a new phone number when you buy it or can you keep one that you have?

You should check the

You should check the MagicJack web site. If I'm not mistaken, if you don't live in certain areas the number they may give you could be a long distance call for your local area.

Everyone is got Cardinal fever here in Phoenix. It's funny that people who aren't fans and don't care during the regular season are jumping on the bandwagon and buying Card's jerseys and stuff. Go Cards!

ICE

An ice storm is pushing into north Texas with light freezing rain and fog to be followed by freezing rain later today. The drive home should be just a joy especially with the pickup truck drivers still doing 70 and thinking they can stop on a dime. Think I'll take the back streets even though it will double my drive time.
