I just became aware of the updated HTC Touch Cruise Footprints
http://www.htc.com/www/press.aspx?id=81678 I am not sure if this will be an iPhone killer or a Garmin Nuvifone killer. HTC Footprints has geo-tagging functionality and has an accompanying car cradle. Actually, if someone were to install Garmin Mobile XT software, it should be very similar to the Nuvifone.

It looks very interesting. But I don't know if I like the idea of it requiring a cradle to work as a GPS.
Hopefully we'll get more details over time on this device. Sounds like full of promise.

I don't think the article is worded very well. I suspect that it means it launches the GPS application when placed in the cradle, but time will tell.
